The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council Ltd

Our industry

Seafood

The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council represents all levels of New Zealand’s seafood industry. We are responsible for protecting the rights and highlighting the responsibilities of the many businesses that make up the New Zealand seafood industry — from the fishermen who catch wild fish, to the marine farmers who grow mussels, oysters and fish; from owner / operator vessels to fish processing plants.

The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council's members represent family fishing companies, publicly listed and joint-venture businesses, and national seafood organisations. It’s part of our role to make sure that New Zealanders understand the importance and value of New Zealand Seafood.
